I like to use music to manage my mood and focus when preparing for a talk or getting ready to deliver it. Generally I do not listen to music with lyrics when creating or practicing, but can listen during the energy phase. Here are a couple of resources.
- My get amped pre-show playlist on Spotify. This has lyrics, so don’t use this when prepping or practicing.
- For background noise that helps me focus when creating, I like to use Focus at Will.
